  • What are reception opening times?

    Our Reception is open 24/7. During the night hours our staff will be always available to help.


  • What are check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in starts from 3.00 pm. Check-out is until 11.00 am.

    In case of an early arrival, our storage room will available for you. If you arrive after 11.00 pm, you could find the front door close but don’t worry, you just need to ring the doorbell and a member of our staff will immediately attend you.

    Once check in has been carried out and you collect your keys, you will be able to come and go as you wish, as your door key will open also the external front door of our Plus Berlin lodging facility.


  • Have you got a silent hour policy?

    Yes, we have a silent hour policy from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am.


  • Can I extend my stay at your hotel?

    It is possible to extend your stay if there are availabilities at the time of your request. If you wish to extend your stay, we highly recommend you to contact the Reception and let us know at least one day in advance.


  • When can I settle my bill?

    Your stay and tourist tax need to be settled at the time of check in. 


  • May I get an invoice?

    Please let us know in advanced your billing details in order to get an invoice ready for you. 


  • How much is the tourist tax?

    Tourist tax is 5% of the total cost of your stay (accommodation only).

    School groups and people traveling for business may avoid to pay this tax, if they meet the local requirements and bring the appropriate certifications. If this is the case for you, please do not hesitate in letting us know so we can proceed accordingly.   • Do minors can stay at the lodging facility or do they need to provide a written permit by their parents?

    Minors cannot share a room with people outside their group. In case they are traveling alone or with other minors, they need to book a private room and bring a written authorisation signed by one of their parents or legal guardian, along with a copy of an identity document of the signing parent/guardian.


  • Are pets allowed?

    Unfortunately no, pets are not allowed.


  • Can beds be reserved?

    Yes, it is possible to reserve beds when a reservation is made for more than 1 person. We can guarantee for people in the same booking to be assigned beds in the same dormitory (if the total number of beds required does not exceed the capacity of our shared dormitory).


  • What time does your restaurant open?

    Our restaurant opens from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Our bar is open from 5.00 pm till late.


  • How much is for breakfast?

    Breakfast is not included in the reservation and the price is EUR 7,50 per person per day.

    We serve a continental buffet breakfast with hot and cold dishes and we can accommodate special dietary requirements (we offer lactose-free, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options). If you suffer from any specific food allergy you just need to let our restaurant staff know.


  • What time is breakfast served?

    Breakfast is served every day from 7.00 am to 11.00 am and from 7.00 am to 12.00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. There is no need to pre-book your breakfast, but you can buy this service for the whole stay when checking in or you can just go to our breakfast area during opening times.


  • Do children get a discount for breakfast?

    Children from 0 to 3 years are offered a free breakfast. Children from 3 to 6 years old will pay EUR 3,00.


  • Is there a WI-FI available?

    WI-FI is free within the premises and in each room. To access our broadband service, you just need to connect your electronic device to “PlusBerlin” network and you will be immediately online.


  • What are the swimming pool opening times?

    Our swimming pool is open from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm.


  • What are the steam room opening times?

    Our steam room is open from 3.00 pm to 10.00 pm.


  • Have you got a laundry service?

    On the floor -1 you will find a self service Laundry available for our guests. Price is EUR 5,00 for the washing machine and EUR 4,50 for using the dryer.


  • Is there a kitchen area available?

    Yes, we have a common area equipped with a kitchenette (with fridges, induction stove, microwave and sink). In the same area you can relax on our sofas, watch tv and buy some snacks.


  • Is there a parking lot available?

    We have a private parking located around 300 meters from our Plus facility which cost EUR 10,00 per car per day. There’s no need to book in advance, you just need to ask to our staff during check in and you will get all the information you may need.

    Please note: the street parking along the street in front of Plus Berlin is no longer available for free.


  • Are there lockers in the room?

    Each bedroom comprises one locker per person which can be locked with your own padlock. If you don’t have one, you can buy it at our Reception for EUR 3,00.


  • Is there any disabled toilet in the room?

    We have rooms equipped with disabled toilet, you just need to send an enquiry for it to our reservation office.


  • Do you offer a linen-rental service?

    Yes, we do. You can rent a towel at our facility for EUR 3,00.


  • Have you got a stroller rental service?

    Unfortunately we do not offer a pushchair rental service. However, we will be happy to help you finding some if you need it.


  • Do you organize events at the restaurant?

    Our restaurant hosts themed evenings regularly.


  • Do you organize sightseeing tours?

    We can book many different tours for you. Contact us for further information.


  • Do you run any Pub Crawl?

    Yes, we can organise pub crawls. Contact us at the reception for further information.

  • What are reception opening times?

    Our Reception is open 24 hours a day. During the night hours our staff will be always available to help.


  • What are check-in and check-out times?

    What are check-in and check-out times? Check-in is from 2.30 pm. Check-out is by 10.00 am.


  • Have you got a silent hour policy?

    Hour hotel has a silent hour policy from 11.30 pm to 7.30 am.


  • Is a late check-out possible?

    We do not offer a late check-out service, but we do have a luggage deposit available for EUR 2.00 per person.


  • Can I extend my stay at your hotel?

    If you wish to extend your stay, we highly recommend you to contact the Reception and let us know at least one day in advance.


  • When can I settle my bill?

    Your stay and tourist tax should be settled at the time of check in.


  • May I get an invoice?

    Please let us know in advanced your billing details in order to get an invoice.


  • How much is the tourist tax?

    Tourist tax is € 2.00 per person per night. However, there are some exemptions which are listed below: 
    A) Children until the 12 years of age;
    B) Anyone assisting patients hospitalised in the area, including one-day admissions, up to a maximum of two people per patient. It will be required to provide the appropriate documentation along with personal details of the people accompanying the patients as well as the referenced period of the hospitalisation or health treatments;
    C) Patients who are getting medical hospital care in a regimen of Day-hospital (self-certification the referenced period of the hospitalisation or health treatments); 
    D) Students from the University of Florence who must bring a certificate of enrolment for the current academic year (or self-certification), a Student Card or university booklet;
    E) Law enforcement officers, National Fire Corps or Civil Protection workers who are staying at local accommodations in the municipality in the line of duty only for the duration of their service;
    F) Severely disabled people in possession of a valid certificate “CERTIFICATO (in Italian) under the Article 3 subparagraph 3 of the law n. 104/92”. Foreigner citizens should provide a certification valid in their own country.

    50% reduction of the Tourist Tax:

    • School groups from middle and high schools during educational visits (also foreigners) on showing a declaration from the school manager (e. g list of names of students and teachers attending the tour specifying they are on an educational trip); 
    • Athletes under the age of 16 years, sporting groups, participants in tournaments and other activities organised by local councils. In this case a statement from the relevant sports federation will be required.


  • Minors can stay at the lodging facility or do they need to provide a written permit by their parents?

    Minors can stay at the hotel/hostel but they need to show a valid identity document plus an authorization signed by one of their parents and a copy of the signing parent’s identity card.


  • At what age children start paying for the accommodation?

    Children up to 4 years can stay for free and sleep on the beds provided in each room. Children from 5 years of age will pay full price.


  • Are pets allowed?

    Unfortunately No, pets are not allowed.


  • Can beds be reserved?

    Unfortunately no, we cannot guarantee specific beds reserved. Even if your reservation comprises more beds book more than 1 bed, we cannot guarantee they will be in the same dormitory (this is for beds in dormitories).


  • What time does your restaurant open?

    Our restaurant is open from 6.30 pm to 11.00 pm.


  • How much is for breakfast?

    Breakfast is not included in the reservation and the price is EUR 7.00 for a continental buffet breakfast. It is possible to pay for it directly at the restaurant. Otherwise, is it possible to order croissants, coffee and other warm beverages at the bar counter.


  • What time is breakfast served?

    Breakfast is served from 7.00 am to 11.00 am.


  • Do children get a discount for breakfast?

    Children from 0 to 5 years are offered a free breakfast. Children from 6 ai 12 will pay half price.


  • Is there a WI-FI available?

    WI-FI is free within the premises and in each room. To access our broadband service you just need to connect your electronic device to “PlusFlorence” network and you will automatically go online.


  • How many pools have you got?

    Plus Florence is equipped with two seasonal swimming pools. During summer our guests can enjoy also our outdoor pool, while in winter time our indoor pool, sauna and steam room are available.


  • What are the swimming pool opening times?

    Our indoor swimming pool is open from 12.00 pm to 10.00 pm.


  • What are the sauna and steam room opening times?

    Our sauna and steam room are open from 3.00 pm to 10.00 pm.


  • Have you got a gym?

    You will find a free gym on -1 floor.


  • Do you offer a laundry service?

    We are equipped with a self-service laundry which is located on the -1 floor. Price is EUR 5 for one washing and EUR 4,50 for the dryer.


  • Is there a kitchen area?

    We have a common area equipped with a kitchenette (with fridges, microwave and sink). In the common area you can also use one of the 2 internet points available, relax on the sofas, watch tv and buy some snacks.


  • Is there a parking lot?

    We do not have a private parking, however we do have a special agreement with Garage Michelangelo, located in Ricasoli street, where our guests can purchase a 24 hours parking ticket for EUR 20.00, plus EUR 1.00 for accessing the Limited Traffic zone (when booking this Garage your license plate number will be automatically removed from the list of numbers collected by security cameras).

    In any case, we will provide at your arrival all the information you may need and your own discount voucher.


  • Is there any locker available in the rooms?

    Each bedroom comprises one locker per person which can be locked with your own padlock. If you don’t have one, you can buy it at our Reception for EUR 4.00.


  • Is there any disabled toilet in the room?

    We have rooms equipped with disabled toilet, you just need to send an enquiry for it to our reservation office.


  • Do you offer a linen-rental service?

    Yes, we do. It is possible to rent a towel for EUR 3.00.


  • Have you got a pushchair rental service?

    Unfortunately we do not offer a pushchair rental service. However, we will be happy to help you finding what you need.


  • Is there any shuttle service from your lodging facility to the station?

    The station is just a 10 minutes walk from our facilities. Local buses run frequently from the station during the day.


  • Do you organize events at the restaurant?

    Our restaurant hosts themed evenings regularly.


  • Do you organize city tours?

    We can book many different tours for you. You can visit the city of Florence and many other places of interest in Tuscany and in the surrounding regions of Italy.


  • Do you run any Pub Crawl?

    Unfortunately not, we do not organize pub crawls.

  • When is the reception open?

    Reception is open 24/7.


  • At what time is check-in and check-out?

    Check- in is done anytime after 15:00, and check-out is at 11:00.


  • Is there a nightly quiet time?

    Yes, nightly quiet time is from 22:00 to 6:00.


  • Are late check-outs possible?

    Yes, we do offer late check-outs for an additional fee when possible and offer the use of the luggage room for free. For more info ask reception.


  • Is it possible to request an extension of the stay?

    Yes, we do offer extensions if there is space available. For more info ask reception.


  • When can I pay the bill?

    The stay must be paid upon check-in. In some cases, the payment can be done beforehand, via credit card transaction.


  • Can I have an invoice?

    Yes, you always receive an invoice, but if you need special information on the billing, please inform us in advance.    


  • How much is the city tax?

    The city tax is already included in your reservation.


  • Can minors stay or do they need permission from their parents?

    Minors under 16 years old cannot stay in shared dorms, only in private rooms and need to be accompanied by an adult. Minors over 16 years old can stay at the hostel with a written and signed permission slip by their parents or legal guardians.


  • From what age do children pay for accommodation?

    Children under 3 years old do not pay for accommodation.    


  • Are animals allowed?

    Yes, small domestic pets are allowed (in private rooms only) for an extra charge of €10 per stay.


  • Are the beds assigned?

    No, we do not assign beds, guests need to choose their own bed when checking into the room.


  • When does the restaurant open?

    The restaurant is open from 7:00 – 11:00 for breakfast, 12:00 – 18:00 for lunch (in summer time only) and from 18:00 on for dinner. 


  • How much is the breakfast?

    Breakfast costs €5 or 135 czk per person, If not already included in your reservation.


  • When is breakfast served?

    Breakfast is served from 7.00 to 11.00.


  • Is there Wi-Fi?

    Yes, FREE high speed wi-fi is available everywhere in the Hostel and Restaurant grounds.


  • How many pools are there?

    Plus Prague has 1 indoor pool and sauna, located on level -1.


  • What are the opening times of the pool area and sauna?

    The pool area is open from 7:00 to 22:00.


  • Is there a gym?

    Yes, we have a fully equipped gym on level -1.


  • Is there a laundry service?

    Yes, there are self-service machines on level -1, or we can do your laundry for you. Ask the reception for more info.
